AUSTIN, TX – Activant Solutions has announced that Japauto, Inc./Performance Machine, an independent auto parts business based in Miami, FL, has invested in an Activant’s PRISM business management platform.

A previous customer of Activant's, the 38-year-old parts business, owned and operated by the Hoyos family, opted to use the PRISM system to address chronic issues associated with inventory management, invoice tracking and electronic catalog functionality, all of which were impacting customer service and ultimately their business, according to Japauto co-owner Henry Hoyos.

Activant PRISM, with more than 1,000 aftermarket installations, is a distribution management system designed to help customers enhance business performance, improve strategic decision-making and coordinate multi-store operations.
