STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- George Caplea, president of Trelleborg Automotive, has announced he will leave the Trelleborg Group on Oct. 1, for a new position as head of North American operations for another, non-competing company.
George Caplea has been business area president since 1998 and executive vice president of the Trelleborg Group since 2002. Peter Nilsson, president and CEO of Trelleborg, will assume responsibility for the Trelleborg Automotive business area until further notice. Caplea will remain in an advisory capacity for a limited amount of time.
