New Activant Estimating, Parts Ordering Solution Enables WDs, Jobbers to Strengthen Service Dealer Relationships

LAS VEGAS Activant Solutions has unveiled a new Web-based job estimating and parts ordering solution designed to help distributors and jobbers strengthen the competitive position of their service dealer customers.

The new Activant Service Estimator solution enables service dealers to automate key business functions, including writing and tracking repair estimates, performing online part lookups and orders and generating professional invoices. This new solution, which integrates Activant’s parts and service data with the Internet AutoParts (IAP) Web portal, is ideally suited to service dealer accounts that have not yet automated their businesses or currently use an estimating tool with limited functionality.

Unlike many other estimating and part ordering solutions, the Activant Service Estimator solution requires no software download and minimal computer hardware while providing a fast and easy means to support a large number of service dealer accounts via a single Web site.
