FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – Robert Bosch Corp. has expanded its program of premium replacement OE modules and OE fuel pumps. The program includes OE electric turbine pumps for both current and older vehicles equipped with either turbine or positive-displacement-type fuel pumps. According to the company, Bosch OE turbine fuel pumps provide superior quality and advanced turbine technology for a wide variety of current and older domestic and import vehicles.

The new Bosch fuel pump program includes full coverage of in-tank electric modules, fuel pumps and fuel pump filter screens. The program covers more than 95 percent of vehicles currently equipped with electrical or mechanical pumps, along with the industry’s highest module and turbine coverage. The OE turbine upgrade pumps are designed to ensure safe, easy installation and conform to OE fit and function.

The Bosch turbine replacement fuel pumps can be installed in more than 65 percent of vehicles equipped with electric fuel pumps – many of which are older technology pumps. Replacing an older technology fuel pump can bring greater operating efficiency, lower current draw and longer service life as well as smoother performance, according to Bosch.

"Designed and manufactured to meet the demanding needs of installers and today’s motorists, Bosch OE-quality premium electric turbine replacement fuel pumps provide the motorist with superior performance, silent operation and long service life," said Warren Suter, director, Product Management, Engine Management Products for Bosch. "Bosch turbine technology in these fuel pumps meets or exceeds OE performance in flow rate, output pressure, current draw and quiet operation. Bosch’s turbine fuel pump design does away with fuel pump noise, prevents hot start problems, and provides increased durability and longevity."

The Bosch turbine fuel pumps are available through Bosch traditional warehouse distributors and select auto parts retail stores. The line provides more than 1300 part numbers, offering coverage for late-model vehicles with fuel pump modules as well as earlier vehicles with OE-installed older technology fuel pumps.
