SMYRNA, TN Beck/Arnley has released a new version of its Stockworks ordering and information software tool. The program is used by the Beck/Arnley sales force to help Beck/Arnley channel partners ‘right-size’ their inventories based on specific product demand in their particular areas of the country.
“Our new Stockworks tool is very flexible and helps the Beck/Arnley sales force work with their partners to increase sales by ordering the parts that are required by their customers -- foreign nameplate technicians,” said Anne Coffin, vice president, IT & marketing, chief information officer.
Beck/Arnley used a similar tool in the past, but the previous version became technologically outdated. The latest version of Stockworks utilizes up-to-the-minute product demand and can be tailored to study the specific product lines or categories that the channel partner uses. Current stock on hand can be imported and analyzed, and inventory suggestions can be created based on percentages, dollar amounts, product lines, categories, etc.
Once an order is suggested and agreed upon, it is automatically dispatched for immediate shipment. Bin box labels can be generated for the channel partner’s warehouse, if desired.
