CHANTILLY, VA Paul Schuck was installed as the new chairman of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) during the recent 2006 International BIG R Show in Las Vegas.
Schuck is an owner of Undercar Express L.L.C., a brake caliper remanufacturer in Cleveland, OH. He has spent the past 25 years in the automotive aftermarket in various management roles in automotive brake system remanufacturing and assembly. Paul worked for CMB Rebuilders in Cleveland during the mid-80s, and was the only employee retained when Exchange Parts of America (EPA) acquired CMB in 1986. Schuck relocated to Arkansas as operations manager for EPA from 1989 to 1992 when Morse Automotive acquired EPA. Preferring to stay close to family, he moved back to Cleveland, OH, and joined Ohio Caliper.
Schuck has been certified by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence. He is a member of the American Society for Quality Control as well as a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
Schuck has served in various positions in APRA since 1993. He served on the Brake Division Board of Governors from 1993 to 1994, became Brake Division chairman in 1994 and served until 1996, and served as regional director from 1996 until 1998.
Schuck will serve as APRA chairman through the close of the 2007 International BIG R Show, which takes place Oct. 27-29, 2007, in Las Vegas.
