AKRON, OH -- Continuing its efforts to reduce manufacturing costs worldwide, Goodyear plans to close its plant in Casablanca, Morocco, by the end of the year.
The closure will result in the loss of 150 jobs.
In the past two weeks, Goodyear announced plans to close its Valleyfield, Quebec, tire plant, but delayed by one year its plan to close its Tyler, TX, plant.
