HARTFORD, CT – Permatex has announced the recipients of its top sales representative awards for 2006. Gantt-Thomas & Associates, Inc. was recognized as the 2006 Sales Representative of the Year for the company’s exceptional work with key retail accounts in the Midwest. Ferber & Associates, Inc. received the International Distinguished Partner Award for successful efforts in the Caribbean region.

The announcement was made by Nick Galasso, Permatex VP of Retail Sales, who noted, “These awards are not just based on the success of the past year alone. In addition to 2006, each award recipient had to demonstrate consistent sales excellence during the previous two years as well."

Tom Schaefer accepted the 2006 Sales Representative of the Year award on behalf of Gantt-Thomas & Associates, which has been representing Permatex since 2000. Established in 1975, Gantt-Thomas covers Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Southern Illinois, and offers automotive retail support services in 18 states in the southern and eastern portion of the U.S.

Greg Mostoller, director of International Sales, presented the International Sales Award to Murray Ferber on behalf of Ferber & Associates, Inc. Murray Ferber has been a Permatex sales representative for more than 25 years. His organization is based out of Miami, FL, and covers the Caribbean territory.
