LEESBURG, VA The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) has launched a new website -- http://www.nastf.org -- incorporating a new logo, a new color scheme and other improvements.
“The navigation is much simpler, and the site now features a participant search function, which allows a user to easily locate information for all NASTF participants and NASTF committee members,” said Mary Hutchinson, NASTF administrative director.
The new website will be an integral part of the new and improved Service Information Request (SIR) process (currently under construction), including posting of SIRs and tracking the responses. In addition, the task force will unveil further future improvements, such as the expanded NASTF Reprogramming Matrix, which is targeted for completion soon.
NASTF encourages all industry professionals to visit the website and offer comments and feedback on its functionality. “We’re looking for input on how to make the NASTF website more useful to technicians, shop owners, and other interested parties,” Hutchinson added.
The next NASTF General Meeting will be held Tuesday, April 17th at 1:30 pm in Detroit, MI, at the Marriott Renaissance Center, Room A/B. This is an open meeting; everyone is welcome and no registration is necessary. The meeting agenda will include reports on the activities of NASTF committees as well as updates on the new NASTF organization. The NASTF Board and staff encourage all industry professionals to attend and participate.
