ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL -- Rod McKenzie is celebrating his 15th anniversary as president of The Penray Companies, Inc. Penray is an Illinois-based manufacturer of cooling system treatments, fuel treatments and shop chemicals.

“All of us at Penray would like to congratulate Rod on his 15 years of spirit and dedication to Penray,” said Howard Laga, VP operations and general manager. “Rod has molded the company based on his own values of hard work, honesty, integrity and fun. As a result, he has instilled a drive and dedication in all of us that is the foundation for our continual growth and prosperity.”

McKenzie, and previous co-owner Dennis Swick, purchased Penray from Nalco Chemical Company in 1992. Both McKenzie and Swick were employed for more than 20 years at Nalco, and had a vision about a tiny chemical company called Penray. Since 1992, Penray has expanded its lines, increased its channels of distribution and improved its sales every year. In 2005, McKenzie obtained complete control of the company.
