Brilliance China Automotive to Sell 300,000 Cars in '07

SHENYANG, China -- Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd., an automaker based Northeastern China, aims to sell 300,000 cars and earn revenues of more than $5.8 billion this year, up 41 percent versus 2006.

Meanwhile, the company said it will export 35,000 cars and obtain foreign exchanges worth $360 million. The company also made a progress plan for the coming three years. Its third overseas plant is set to kick off construction soon. The company expects to sell 500,000 cars and obtain sales revenue of $10 billion in 2010.

Brilliance China Automotive, ranking among the top ten Chinese automakers by sales, sold 210,088 cars last year, leaping 71.5 percent year on year. In January, its sedans sold under the brand name Zhonghua, saw a sales volume of more than 10,000 cars.
