ALPHARETTA, GA -- Exide Technologies has appointed Joseph Lash as a new member to the company’s board of directors, effective March 22.

Lash, 44, is a partner of Tontine Associates, LLC, a Greenwich, CT-based investment partnership, since July 2005. Prior to that, Lash was a senior managing director of Conway, Del Genio, Gries & Co., LLC, a financial advisory firm from April 2002 to July 2005. From June 1998 to April 2001, Lash was a managing director of JP Morgan Chase & Co., a financial services firm. Lash also serves as a director of Integrated Electrical Services, Inc., an electrical contracting services provider, and Neenah Foundry Co., a metals casting manufacturer.
