Gary Kremer, senior vice president at Uni-Select USA, is retiring. A 35 year veteran of the aftermarket industry, Kremer will step down from his role at Uni-Select effective Friday, March 30.
In addition to his career at Uni-Select, Kremer is a past chairman of Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA), past chairman of the Car Care Council and past president of the Independent Auto Parts of America. He also served as an instructor for the AWDA University, now Northwood University's University of the Aftermarket, and earned the University designation of automotive aftermarket professional (AAP).
John Rutland, previously a regional VP for Uni-Select, will succeed Kremer in his corporate development role at Uni-Select.
Uni-Select USA is a subsidiary of Uni-Select Inc., Canada ’s second largest distributor of automotive and heavy-duty replacement parts, equipment, tools and accessories. The Uni-Select Network includes more than 2,000 independent jobbers and services 3,142 points of sale in Canada and the United States.
