Remy International has been recognized as an Advance Auto Parts "Grand Vendor of the Year" for 2006. This is the second consecutive year that Remy has achieved this recognition.

This award is presented to the hard parts vendor that most closely and consistently matches the same leadership values that Advance follows. The Advance Leadership Triangle categories include: 7 Ideal Team Member Characteristics; 5 Basics for Sales & Customer Satisfaction and 3 Profit Basics.

Remy was chosen from among more than 200 vendors. Award recipients are nominated by the merchant department team, and then awarded by review of the management team and the various support groups (inventory, logistics, commercial sales and training departments).

Remy was recognized for its continued effort to support Advance through its order fill/inventory management, category management and cataloging.
