BETHESDA, MD -- Join the Women's Board in Vancouver, Canada for the 2007 WB Summer Meeting, June 6-7 at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown, for a day and a half of strategic planning geared toward encouraging women to enter the industry and promote consumer education. The early-bird deadline has been extended to April 27.
The agenda for the meeting will include David Vaughan, discussing the Canadian version of the 1-800 Charity Cars campaign, which benefits victims of domestic violence, and Patty Kettles of AIA Canada speaking about her organization's efforts on behalf of the "Be Car Care Aware" campaign and the Canadian aftermarket. An update on National Car Care Month will be presented, as well as Jody DeVere of the http://www.AskPatty.com website, discussing her female-friendly automotive advice programs. Nancy Andersen of Affinia Under Vehicle Group will be the featured Meet-A-Member for the summer meeting, followed by a unique Vancouver city experience.
The registration fee includes a group dinner and Vancouver city experience on Wednesday, June 6, and breakfast, lunch and a cocktail reception on Thursday, June 7. Click here for a registration form.
