COLMAR, PA -- Dorman Products was named the recipient of two awards at the National Catalog Manager's Association (NCMA) conference recently held in Savannah, GA.

The President's Award for Web Catalog Excellence was presented by Mark Seng, president, NCMA to Dorman attendees Jillian Horton, e-data manager; Charlie Swarts, application research manager; and Chris Nierintz, product manager and past president of the NCMA.

Dorman's winning entry, http://www.DormanProducts.com was judged against other leading automotive aftermarket websites on the basis of design, ease of navigation, catalog content (50 percent), technology, interactivity and innovation.

Dorman was also the recipient of the Presidents Award for Electronic Data Excellence by Activant Solutions. The award was presented by Doreen Slayter, senior manager, manufacturer services for Activant Solutions. The electronic data excellence awards are based on timely, accurate delivery of data to support the year-make-model lookup in the industry leading Activant electronic catalog system.

Dave Dale, director of product data services for Dorman said of the awards, "We are extremely pleased to be recognized as one of the best data providers in the automotive aftermarket. We manage thousands of part numbers, and our goal is to make our products easier to find and complete the transaction faster at the counter level. We continually set the bar higher in terms of data delivery and our web site, and understand the need for complete, accurate information to aid in the sales process."
