Dave Lundstedt to Retire From Honeywell CPG, Chris Stephens Named Successor

Honeywell has announced the retirement of its Consumer Products Group (CPG) President, Dave Lundstedt. He will be succeeded by Chris Stephens, currently the vice president and chief financial officer of Honeywell Transportation Systems.

DANBURY, CT – Honeywell has announced the retirement of its Consumer Products Group (CPG) President, Dave Lundstedt. He will be succeeded by Chris Stephens, currently the vice president and chief financial officer of Honeywell Transportation Systems.

Honeywell CPG is a $2 billion global business within Honeywell Transportation Systems with six premium automotive brands and approximately 7,500 employees. The six brands include: Autolite spark plugs, Bendix aftermarket brake products, FRAM oil, air, transmission and fuel filters, Holts car care products, Jurid brake products and Prestone antifreeze/coolant and car care products.

Lundstedt’s retirement is effective June 15, and comes after a 31-year career with Honeywell, Allied Signal, Prestone Products Corp., First Brands and Union Carbide.

“After three decades of service to the brands that make up Honeywell’s Consumer Products Group, Dave leaves with the respect and admiration of our entire industry, and we wish him all the best in retirement,” said Adriane Brown, president and CEO of Honeywell Transportation Systems. “As CFO for the past four years, Chris has been instrumental in helping shape the strategic direction of our business. His experience in leading other global businesses will be a key asset as we look to grow the CPG business in years to come.”

Stephens assumes the role with more than 21 years of experience at Honeywell, Boeing and Ingersoll-Rand in key operating and financial leadership roles. Before joining Honeywell, Chris served as vice president and general manager of Boeing Electron Dynamic Devices (EDD), now a division of L-3 Communications, one of the world’s leading suppliers to the space and defense industry. Prior to Boeing, Stephens spent three years with AlliedSignal (now Honeywell) in finance leadership roles with Electronic Systems and Aerospace Equipment Systems.
