MUSCATINE, IOWA -- A celebration and press conference will be held today at the Bandag Learning Center in Muscatine, Iowa, to commemorate the completion of Bridgestone’s acquisition of Bandag.
Mark Emkes, chairman and CEO of Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc. (BAH), Saul Solomon, new chairman, CEO and president of Bandag and Martin Carver, former Bandag chairman and CEO, will all be present at the event entitled “Bringing the Best Together: Bandag & Bridgestone.”
A barbecue luncheon for Bandag employees will be followed by a press conference and a tour of the Bandag retread plant. In the afternoon, Carver will hand off the Bandag Bandit racetrack to Solomon.
