SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA -- Egge Machine Co. has appointed Shirley Hooper to the position of director of sales and marketing, effective immediately. Egge is a global supplier of restoration engine components and “nostalgic” performance products.

Hooper, first hired in November 2005 as administrative/marketing assistant, brings 14 years of marketing and sales experience to her new role at Egge. Though not from an automotive background, Hooper’s sales and marketing experience is solid and diverse. "I find the nostalgia of hot rodding and classic cars fascinating,” said Hooper. “Though I'm still learning the industry, I feel my previous marketing experience and ability to build a winning team will be the key to our future success."
