INDIANAPOLIS -- FinishMaster has promoted George Rickus to vice president, Industrial Business.

Rickus began leading the effort to develop and grow the industrial segment of FinishMaster’s business in 2005. Since that time, FinishMaster has experienced double-digit annual growth in industrial sales, expanded its sales force and improved its processes to better meet the needs of its industrial customers.

“This promotion recognizes the leadership George brings to FinishMaster and further solidifies our dedication to this market segment,” said J.A. Lacy, president and CEO of FinishMaster.

Rickus joined FinishMaster in 2002. Prior to leading the company’s industrial initiative, he oversaw numerous strategic projects in sales, operations, finance, and IT, including local market strategy and long-range strategic planning. Rickus has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
