WHITSETT, NC -- High Performance Coatings (HPC) a subsidiary of nCoat Inc., has entered a collaborative agreement with Universal Technical Institute (UTI), to train automotive engineers on the performance and use of coatings.

Under the agreement as a sponsoring partner, HPC is teaching multiple courses on its nano-coating and micron particulate coating technology at each of the 10 UTI campuses across the nation. The courses have been initially offered at the "Hot Rod University" located at the UTI facility in Exton, PA, and the NASCAR-based NTI (NASCAR Technical Institute) campus in Mooresville, NC. By fall, other campuses in California, Arizona, Washington, Florida and Texas will have similar offerings. Of particular interest is the benefit the high-performance coating can bring to exhaust system designs in the schools' "Dyno program."

"Training the next generation of automotive engineers at UTI and the current generation of racing crews at NTI creates an incredible mutual value proposition for both organizations," said Ken Crocheron, vice president of business development for nCoat. "Since nCoat coatings have performance far outpacing competitive coatings, after graduation from UTI students will enter the marketplace with cutting edge knowledge and want to use nCoat products. This is win/win."
