Parts Wholesalers Inc. (PWI), an affiliate of Tire Wholesalers Inc. (TWI), a wholesale distribution company based in Troy, MI, was granted a license to distribute Mighty Auto Parts in seven western Michigan counties.

PWI was formed in 2004 to initiate the first Mighty franchise in nine eastern Michigan counties north of Detroit. The new franchise will be located in Grand Rapids, MI.

“Any installer business that becomes a Mighty customer will up its turn rate of inventory and fill rate of parts on hand,” said TWI founder Ross Kogel Sr. “As a result, there is an increase of customer satisfaction and profits at the same time. The installer business and installer employees will realize more income.”

Kogel’s partner, Joe Reck, will manage both Mighty franchises.
