ADDISON, IL -- KYB America Senior Vice President Mike Howarth will be transferring back to KYB Europe as managing director at the end of July 2007. Howarth joined KYB America as senior vice president almost five years ago to assist in the expansion and development of KYB’s presence in the North American aftermarket.

Mike Fiorito, director of sales, was promoted to the position of vice president of KYB America, effective July 1.

In summarizing his time at KYB America, Howarth commented, “Working in the USA and Canada has been a very challenging but rewarding experience. KYB America is now a far stronger aftermarket supplier, with a much improved organization, and is well positioned to meet the future demands of the market. As we approach a 20 percent market share, I am confident that our management team under the leadership of Mike Fiorito will continue to drive forward the growth of KYB, and that our company, our distributors and our service provider customers will all benefit. I very much appreciate all the help and support given to me and KYB America over the past five years, and in the process of moving on and leaving behind many friends, I would like to recognize the many outstanding aftermarket leaders in the USA and Canada from whom I have learned so much.”
