ANDERSON, IN -- Delco Remy has announced the expansion of various leadership roles within the company. Kent Jones, Tom VanderLaan and Tania Wingfield’s roles at Delco Remy have expanded and they will now be reporting directly to Kerry Shiba, president of Remy Inc.
Kent Jones is currently vice president of Delco Remy’s heavy-duty business. His role will expand to leading Remy’s global heavy-duty sales and marketing initiatives. He will continue his domestic role as vice president of heavy-duty sales and marketing.
Tom VanderLaan, vice president of sales for Remy’s automotive business, will now lead the global automotive sales and marketing efforts for the company. VanderLaan will also take on overall development responsibility for hybrid initiatives.
Tania Wingfield, vice president of product line management, starters and alternators, will be taking complete responsibility for global product strategy. Wingfield’s focus will be setting product profitability targets, product life cycle management and prioritization of new programs in order to establish a foundation of long-range business plans.
