SOUTHFIELD, MI -- Prestolite Wire Corp. has completed a redesign of its Prestolite ProConnect ignition wire set packaging for the aftermarket. Part of an ongoing effort to strengthen brand identity, the package graphics feature a revised Prestolite logo, a new OES Engineered logo and enhanced product visuals. The new package is being phased into distribution this fall.
Prestolite Wire Corp. is a manufacturer of ignition wire sets for both the OE/OES market and aftermarket. The company makes ignition wires for 70 percent of new vehicles manufactured in North America since 1980. They also claim the best ignition wire set coverage of import and domestic vehicles in the aftermarket.
Mark Miner, Prestolite vice president of traditional aftermarket sales said, “We recognized that our company name and brand, as well as the Prestolite OE/OES market leadership story, needed more emphasis. Ignition wire set packaging is the first result of this new brand focus.” Other product packages and marketing elements are undergoing revision as well," he added.
Prestolite also recently completed acquisition of Mr. Gasket, Inc., whose products include well-known performance ignition brands such as Taylor Vertex, Mallory and Accel. The new group will be known as Prestolite Performance.
