BRANFORD, CT -- The IWD (Auto Pride/Truck Pride) board of managers has announced the appointment of Bill Burns as company CEO. Burns began his new duties on June 7. He succeeds former CEO Bruce Tavik, who left the position due to the sale of his business.

Burns has “risen through the ranks” with IWD since 1986. He has excelled in every capacity with the company including his most recent post as executive vice president, IWD said.

Burns has served on numerous vendor advisory councils and the automotive committee of AAIA. He has additionally served on the CFS board of directors and is currently on the HDAW joint operating committee.
