AKRON, OH -- Eric Brothers has joined the staff of Fleet Equipment magazine as senior editor. He has nearly 20 years of experience as a writer, specializing in business and entrepreneur profiles, community news and feature articles. He has served as a book editor with The University of Akron Press, and has helped private clients bring their manuscripts to print.

Since 1993, he has been editor of Buoyant Flight, an internationally distributed aeronautics newsletter on the subject of balloons and airships. He has appeared in several televised documentaries as a subject-matter expert and served as a technical advisor on educational books produced by Madison Press/Time-Warner and Capstone Press.

Brothers has a degree in marketing/advertising from The Ohio State University. He brings with him a life-long interest in vehicular transportation and looks forward to learning more about the concerns and needs of fleet owners and managers.
