BOUCHERVILLE, Quebec -- Uni-Select, which ranked ninth this year on Counterman’s Top 20 Superstores list, has acquired all of the assets of Parts Holding, LLC and its operating companies which include Parts Distributors, LLC.

Parts Distributors, a Parts Plus member, operates 16 retail locations and one distribution center active in the States of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland. Parts Distributors customers' are independent jobbers and fleet operators. Forty percent of Parts Distributors sales are to fleet customers.

"From its inception, Parts Holding, LLC and Parts Distributors, LLC have enjoyed strong and steady growth. As part of the Uni-Select Network, we will have the ability to better serve our traditional customers, and will have the tools to pursue our expansion of sales to fleet customers," said Rick Levy, president of Parts Distributors, LLC.

The acquired business will become part of the North-East division of Automotive Group USA. According to Uni-Select, the business should add annual sales of $52 million.

This acquisition closely follows Uni-Select’s purchase of Massachusetts–based auto parts distributor Consumer Auto Parts, which it acquired in August.
