BENICIA, CA -- 1-800-Radiator, an auto parts distribution franchise and independent auto parts distributor, has purchased certain assets of 36 Proliance International branch locations.

According to Mike Rippey, CEO of 1-800-Radiator, this acquisition will help the company achieve its strategic expansion goals. 1-800-Radiator sells radiators, condensers, fan assemblies, gas tanks, heating cores and other new auto parts. In almost all cases, the company provides same day delivery to customers.

Proliance International is a global manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket heat exchange and temperature control products for automotive and heavy-duty applications serving North America, Central America and Europe. The company announced earlier this month plans to sell select branch assets 1-800 RADIATOR, Heatex and Roppel Industries, in conjunction with the plant closures taking place as part of its restructuring initiative.
