CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA – Pilot Automotive has acquired the assets of two California automotive businesses -- DME (Design Motorsports Engineering) and DC Sports.

Based in City of Industry, CA, DME is a specialty tuner offering highly engineered performance exhaust, diversion panels and engine dampers. DC Sports is a leading performance brand of cat-back exhaust systems, ceramic headers, stainless steel headers and strut tower bars, and is based in Corona, CA.

Commenting on the acquisitions, Pilot Automotive COO Mitch Williams said, “DME has a very exciting product line and DC Sports enjoys very high brand recognition in the market so it was a logical combination DC Sports has a reputation for offering the highest quality and performance and this will not change. What will change with Pilot’s involvement is that DC Sports will begin an immediate strategic expansion of the product range and applications.”
