KINGSTON, Ontario -- Bosal, a manufacturer of automotive exhaust systems and related components, has appointed aftermarket veteran Joe Mercanti as its regional sales manager for Ontario. In addition, Bosal has named Chris Dawson to serve as district sales representative for the Ontario sales team. The announcements were made by Art Beck, managing director for Bosal Canada, Inc.

Mercanti has worked in the Canadian automotive aftermarket for more than 30 years and has considerable experience in the exhaust business. Dawson has more than 15 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, including seven years in the exhaust aftermarket.

Beck also announced the appointment of the Lyman Agencies Ltd. as Bosal Canada’s exclusive sales representatives in Thunderbay, Ontario, and the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Lyman Agencies President Ken Morrison and his four district managers bring Bosal more than 70 years of combined marketing and sales experience in Western Canada.
