SOUTHFIELD, MI -- R. L. Polk & Co. appointed Mark Seng vice president, aftermarket and commercial vehicle. In this role, Seng will be responsible for the profitable growth of the Commercial Vehicle and Aftermarket business units in North America and strengthening the group's expansion into the commercial vehicle and global aftermarket industries. He will report to Mary McDonnell, senior vice president - strategic markets.
"Mark brings great knowledge to the team with his more than 20 years of experience, most recently with automotive and vehicle data strategy," said McDonnell. "We are excited to bring Mark to our team and immediately involve him in strategic planning to grow our products and services."
Prior to joining Polk, Seng served as senior manager of ecommerce and electronic data services for Federal-Mogul. Prior to that position, Seng held varying positions within Federal-Mogul, including director of the product services group where he managed up to 30 people responsible for vehicle and original equipment research and cataloging for all product lines.
Seng is a past president of the National Catalog Managers Association and is actively involved in the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association and the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association.
