Omega Environmental Technologies Adds to Staff

DALLAS -- Omega Environmental Technologies, a global manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket mobile air parts, has announced the following new appointments to the Omega team:

Matt Parkman, a 30-plus year veteran of the mobile air conditioning replacement business joined Omega in March 2007 as a product manager. Parkman’s responsibilities include product development and sourcing. His previous experience includes careers with Air Parts/Automotive Driers, Four Seasons Division of Standard Motor Products, Evap Inc. and the Ready-Aire Division of Proliance. Parkman has held various management positions including operations, purchasing and product development.

Joel Minor, a 23-year industry veteran, joined Omega in September of 2007 as the warehouse/facilities manager. Among Minor’s responsibilities are uniting of warehouse logistics and personnel for optimum performance and facility maintenance. His prior experience includes time spent with the Four Seasons Division of Standard Motor Products, and, most recently as the inventory control and warehouse manager for the Ready-Aire Division of Proliance. Minor received his AS in Business Administration from Tarrant County ( Texas ) College.

Brian Kennedy, a 27 -year industry veteran recently joined Omega as purchasing manager. Kennedy’s responsibilities include overseeing the purchasing department and working closely with sales and marketing to ensure that Omega has the correct and adequate parts in inventory to service its domestic and international customer base. Kennedy will also work closely with vendors to ensure that all products meet or exceed Omega’s quality standards. His most recent assignment was as purchasing manager for ACP of Florida. He also served as vice president/purchasing for Chilly Bear Auto Air and served in many capacities while with Modine manufacturing/C&M Core Distributors from 1981 to 2000.
