ELGIN, IL – The Heavy Duty Representatives Association (HDRA) has selected Wade & Partners as its new association management company.

Founded in 1973, HDRA is the national trade association for independent manufacturers’ rep agencies in the heavy duty industry. Based in Elgin, IL, HDRA is composed of the leading agencies in the heavy duty industry, selling to both original equipment and aftermarket segments.

Wade & Partners will be responsible for HDRA meetings, membership, educational services, HDRA participation in shows and conventions including the annual breakfast hosted by HDRA at the Louisville Truck Show.

The change in management comes after longtime association director, Cara Giebner's decision to retire. Bill Wade, managing partner at Wade & Partners, has been a major supporter of manufacturer reps in a number of his previous companies, including CR/SKF, Parker Automotive and Stant.

“We are sad to see Cara Giebner retire, she was a like guardian angel to our association. But we are excited to start on this new path with Wade & Partners,” said Stephen Grace, HDRA president.
