Jim Doran Returns to Emhart Teknologies as National Retail Sales Manager

SHELTON, CT -- Emhart Teknologies has announced the appointment of Jim Doran to national retail sales manager, responsible for Emhart's Automotive Aftermarket and Catalog House business.

Doran, a 16-year Emhart veteran, returns to the company after developing and managing similar sales and promotional programs at Alcoa. Doran will team up with Russ Brown, aftermarket marketing manager, to develop and implement programs to increase sales and market share through aftermarket and catalog house channels.

According to Cindy Canu, national sales manager at Emhart, “Pairing Jim Doran’s aftermarket and catalog house knowledge and expertise with Russ Brown’s retail branding skills and extensive manufacturing knowledge from his Duracell days will create a powerful, innovative capability for our customers.”

She went on to add, “In the current environment this team’s capabilities will provide our customers with competitive advantage achieved through our unique product mix and new promotion, packaging and point-of-sale approaches.”

The new management team will focus on multiple product development programs for these unique market segments promoting Emhart's primary brands, Heli-Coil brand thread repair and insert products and POP brand rivets and rivet tools. In addition they will work closely with individual customers to develop targeted and proprietary promotional programs suitable for their specific marketing challenges.
