HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL -- I-CAR, an international not-for-profit organization that researches, develops and conducts training programs for the North American collision repair industry, has opened a call for candidates to fill the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
I-CAR is seeking chief staff executive to provide overall leadership and management direction for the organization. Headquartered in the Chicago Northwest suburbs, I-CAR has a $16 million budget, and offices in six locations including Canada, as well as affiliations in New Zealand and Australia. The organization employs 110 regular staff members as well as 275 part-time instructors supported by more than 3,000 volunteers.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 15 years of senior level management experience in the automotive industry, as well as a bachelor's degree or relevant, equivalent work experience.
In addition, the I-CAR Education Foundation, formed to ensure an adequate supply of well-trained new employees in the collision industry, is seeking candidates to fill the position of Executive Director. Successful candidates will possess five to eight years of fundraising experience at the executive level, as well as a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
