BETHESDA, MD -- The Leadership Development Network (LDN) will once again hold its annual Fun Walk & Run during the 2008 AAIA Spring Leadership Days, Thursday, April 10, in Bonita Springs, FL. The event will begin at 5:30 pm, right after the scheduled segment meetings that day.

Sponsorship money raised for this event helps to fund automotive scholarships through the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) scholarship program. At this year's GAAS, May 20-21, in Chicago, LDN will award five $1,000 scholarships to students pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket industry. Companies interested in donating money for this event should e-mail LDN's staff liaison, Marcella Tilli, at marcella.tilli@aftermarket.org.

Support from companies allows LDN to continue the tradition of encouraging individuals, through education, to enter and stay in the aftermarket industry. Along with sponsoring the Fun Walk & Run, each company's logo will be printed on t-shirts handed out during the event, as well as the company's web link on the LDN website, www.aftermarket.org/ldn.
