SOUTHFIELD, MI – BASF Automotive Refinish Solutions has announced that its training department has received National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation/Continuing Automotive Service Education (NATEF/CASE) recertification.

“Achieving NATEF/CASE recertification is a tangible added value to our BASF training offerings,” said William Jay Johnston, manager of BASF Business Training and Development in North America. “The recertification proves that the BASF training and program development processes are very solid, and that our information transfer methodology is intact.”

NATEF/CASE recertification allows BASF to deliver training curriculum that meets the competency levels its customers require throughout North America.

“The collision industry is continually evolving. At BASF we are keenly aware of the need to keep our personnel and winning customers informed of the latest industry advances to attain and exceed business goals,” said Johnston.

BASF training programs are developed in modules. The modules are assembled based on the greatest customer needs as identified in a customer needs assessment. CASE activities are technically driven so curriculum consists of what a student is required to know versus information that is nice to know. BASF updates its programs annually.
