GREENSBORO, NC -- Auto parts retailer O'Reilly Automotive said Tuesday that it will open an East Coast distribution center in Greensboro, NC.
The distribution center will be in a new 300,000-square-foot building in McConnell Center next to Interstate 40/85.
O'Reilly will invest $41.7 million over three years and create 360 jobs paying an average wage of $27,201 per year plus benefits, according to a news release from the Greensboro Economic Development Alliance.
Last week, county commissioners approved giving up to $204,367 in incentives to the company to be distributed over three years.
Earlier, the City Council awarded the company $187,696 in incentives, which also is to be paid over three years.
