LEESBURG, VA – The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) has announced the date and location of its Spring meeting, which will be held at 2 pm on April 15 in the Mackinac East/West Room at the Marriott Renaissance Center, Detroit, MI.

“The Spring meeting will consist of committee updates and an overview of the new Secure Data Release Model (SDRM), covering everything from how to fill out the forms and receive a Locksmith Identification (LSID) to how to administer the LSID account, access key codes and answering any remaining questions from participants,” said Charlie Gorman, NASTF Chairman. “The SDRM is an important NASTF initiative and I encourage everyone who can make it to attend the Detroit meeting. No meeting registration is required.”

Information on the SDRM is available on the NASTF website at www.nastf.org. This information also covers the registration process and qualifications necessary for a repairer or other security professional to access this security information. The website also provides a link to download the necessary forms to apply for inclusion in the national registry.
