AKRON, OH -- Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. plans to hold its 8th Engineering Career Day for Young Women at the company’s Akron, OH, headquarters on April19.

Open to students in grades 6 to 12, the free event is designed to provide young women with information about a potential career in engineering and science-related fields, the company said. Attendees will learn about the different engineering disciplines, participate in hands-on activities and interact with local professionals.
