BEIJING -- The Bosch Group will successively put three new automotive electronics production lines in China into production this year, the global supplier of technology and service said on March 27.

After lifting up its production capacity, the company can further meet the Chinese customers' increasing demand for auto security and comfort and expand its exports to the Asia-Pacific Region and other countries.

Set up in 2006, the Automotive Electronics Division of Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. also manufactures diesel engine management system control units and other automotive electronic products. Its employees will amount to more than 1,000 at the end of 2008.

Of the employees, nearly 100 are engaged in technical research and development, which enables Bosch to continuously improve and optimize its technology and products in line with the demand in the Chinese market.

The group, comprising Robert Bosch GmbH and its approximately 300 subsidiaries and regional companies in more than 50 countries, says it will continue investing in new production equipment in China in the coming years.
