LEESBURG, Va. – The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) has scheduled a discussion panel for the Spring General meeting to address questions regarding the new Secure Data Release Model (SDRM), which was released on Jan. 1. The Spring meeting will be held on at 2 pm April 15 in the Mackinac East/West Room at the Marriott Renaissance Center, Detroit, Mich.

“The SDRM panel will consist of representatives from vehicle manufacturers, independent locksmiths who are registered and currently use the system, and the American Automobile Association (AAA),” said Charlie Gorman, NASTF chairman. “The SDRM panel will address questions related to development, participation, system integrity, ease of use, customer support and much more.”

The SDRM panelists are as follows:

• General Motors: Bob Stewart
• Nissan: Jim Von Ehr
• Volkswagen, Kurt Immekus
• Locksmith: John Brueggeman
• Locksmith: Claude Hensley
• American Automobile Association: Justin McNaull
