AURORA, Ill. -- Hankook Tire America Corp. has opened a new distribution center, this one located in Aurora, Ill. It is Hankook’s sixth U.S. distribution center.
“The addition of a Chicago distribution location allows us to better serve the Chicago metro area,” said J.R. Nottolini, Hankook’s midwest regional director. “Will call is now possible in this region, allowing dealers to have product in their hands the next day, providing them with a wider variety of just-in-time inventory at their disposal.”
The new facility, said Hankook, will service retailers throughout the Midwest, which had previously been handled by the company’s centers in Tennessee and New Jersey. (Courtesy of Tire Review)
