AKRON, Ohio – Jon Owens, group publisher at Babcox Publications, has been named president of Auto7, a supplier of original equipment quality parts for Hyundai, Kia and GM-Daewoo to the U.S. and Canadian aftermarkets based in Miramar, FL. Owens joins Auto7 effective July 14.

“It is bittersweet for us to see Jon leave. He’s been a top performer for us for the past eight years and we appreciate the outstanding job he did for us,” said Bill Babcox , president of Babcox Publications. “At the same time, we will miss Jon professionally and personally and wish he and Sue all the best.”

Owens added, “Babcox has provided me with the most satisfying chapter of my career thus far. It is difficult to leave this wonderful company and these special people. However, I am thrilled about the opportunity at Auto7 and flattered that they chose me to lead them into their exciting future.”

Jon and his wife Sue will be relocating to Miami area.
