Kumho Tire Co. is scrambling to find a buyer for an estimated $109 million stake in the company, a share that Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. wants to sell.
Cooper took the estimated 11 percent share in Kumho back in 2005. It has been trying to sell off those shares since earlier this year.
