With tendered shares all in now, Schaeffler Group said Sept. 2 that it holds a 48.32 percent stake in Continental AG.
Schaeffler reported that more than 40 percent of Continental’s outstanding shares were tendered during the bid period, which ended Aug. 26.
By agreement, Schaeffler cannot own more than 49.99 percent of Continental’s outstanding shares before 2012. (Courtesy of Tire Review)
