SMYRNA, Tenn. Beck/Arnley has expanded its new category of foreign-branded brake pads to include ATE and Mintex, bringing the total number of available applications to 2,345.
This category, which was introduced in Feb. 2008, complements the existing range of Beck/Arnley brand OE replacement pads and Axxis brand brake pads. The new brake pads are sourced from leading foreign suppliers, according to the company.
"We are pleased to expand this new category of brake pads by adding new brands and more vehicle applications," said Sona Grubbs, product manager for brakes. "Our foreign nameplate customers will benefit from a wider range of Beck/Arnley product offerings to fit their ever-changing needs."
The first product in this new brake category comes from Sumitomo (SEI) Brake Systems, an OE supplier, and Japan’s first disc brake manufacturer. The company offers premium brakes for automotive applications.
Beck/Arnley said it will continue to add other brake pad suppliers for Asian and European applications in the near future.
