2013 PBES May Conference Moving To East Coast

For the first time in more than a decade, the annual Paint, Body & Equipment Specialists (PBES) May Conference will be held on the east coast at the Embassy Suites Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore, Md.

BETHESDA, Md. – For the first time in more than a decade, the annual Paint, Body & Equipment Specialists (PBES) May Conference, will be held on the east coast at the Embassy Suites Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore, Md. This year’s conference, taking place May 13-15, 2014, will include roundtable sessions, a full day-and-a-half of speakers and two evening receptions.

Over the past few years, the May conference has seen a 20 percent increase in attendance, according to PBES, growing in popularity as jobbers and manufacturers come together to discuss the future of the market. The conference is open to members and non-members, and the PBES Committee says it is hopeful the change in venue will bring new attendees.

“We have talked about moving the conference for a number of years, and we are very excited to bring it to the east coast,” said Travis Trott, chairman of the PBES Committee. “It is a great event with speakers who bring significant value to the attendees through ideas that make their business better. We look forward to seeing many new faces as we take the best PBE networking event of the year to Baltimore.”

Online registration and hotel reservations will be open in mid-December. For more information, visit www.aftermarket.org/Segments/PBES.
