MEXICO CITY The 14th edition of PAACE Automechanika Mexico, Mexico and Central America’s most important international trade show for the automotive aftermarket, will return July 18-20 to the Centro Banamex in Mexico City, Mexico.
Automechanika, one of the world’s leading trade-fair brands in the B2B sector and Mexico’s ProMéxico, a business-promotion organization, have signed a declaration of intent to promote the automotive industry in the region through the Automechanika fairs in Frankfurt and Mexico City.
Messe Frankfurt will support Mexican automotive companies wanting to expand into the international market within the framework of the next Automechanika in Frankfurt from Sept. 11-16, which will draw the attention of international customers to PAACE Automechanika Mexico. An enhanced element of the 2012 trade show is the partnership between PAACE Automechanika Mexico and the German Ministry of Economy. Their support will include a German pavilion presentation at the show.
Event organizers say support and commitment from exhibiting companies for the 2012 event is strong, evidenced by key industry players already involved, including Robert Bosch, Gates, GMB North America, DENSO, Lubegard, Power Star and hundreds of other brands signing up to participate this July in Mexico’s leading event.
Among those companies are a host of international manufacturers. To date, nine countries from around the world will be represented on the show floor, including Brazil, Germany, India, Korea, Malaysia, Spain, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States.
“We are pleased to continue to be the most significant business trade show platform serving the automotive aftermarket in Mexico,” said John Gallagher, the new president of Messe Frankfurt Inc., “And, the excitement surrounding this year’s event only reflects and confirms the importance, and unlimited opportunities that exist within Mexico’s automotive industry.”
